Hello, my name is Eugena Monroe. Welcome to my website! I am a accountant/bookkeeper, grant writer/manager, graphic & web designer/content manager, computer technology savvy person, My hobbies and interests include spending time with family and friends, walking, reading, learning, knitting, and playing the fiddle. I enjoy great conversations, helping others, and being creative.
This website displays my portfolio of past and present accomplishments. My education foundation includes the following a bachelor degree from Indiana University East in general studies where I focused on the areas of accounting, graphic/web design, and computer IT. I also have an associate degree in office administration specifically in accounting and paralegal studies from Ivy Tech State College. I was blessed with the opportunity to complete a two-year paid graphic/web design internship with the Marketing and Communications Department at Indiana University East. I then went on to gain more experience at Whitewater Publications, Inc. as the lead graphic and marketing designer. I began grant writing when I was fourteen years old, while working for the Union County, Indiana Public Library. Through employment opportunities at the Union County Library, Union County Community Corrections, Fayette/Union Soil and Water Conservation District, Franklin County Government Center and Miami University I have continued to develop grant writing and managing expertise.
